We are looking for a business and marketing intern for a video game development! The game is a new kind of historical video game deriving from the Finnish folklore and folk tradition focusing on the Savonian sage institute and set in Savo in the early 19th century. The game team consists of students and professionals who are passionate about the subject, both from the field of the gaming industry as well as tradition research.
Your primary tasks would be planning the financing of the game project as well as the commercialization of the game, together with the producer. Knowhow on game business is a plus! The internship is without salary and would start as soon as possible. The lenght and amount of work are adjustable. Work can be done either in Finnish or in English and it is fully remote.
The game is developed in collaboration with Perinnepelit ry, that is a new association whose purpose is to promote the awareness and accessibility of Finnish folklore and folk tradition through gamification.
