Reaktor’s Fusion Ecosystem business includes almost 40 minority owned, founder driven tech-sector consulting service companies. The portfolio is managed by a team consisting of four senior partners, and the business is growing fast: since September 2024, 8 new companies have been formed. Reaktor’s Fusion Ecosystem team creates new business concepts, recruits founders and key employees, and supports the portfolio companies in ramping up the businesses, gearing them up towards international growth. As a Trainee, you will provide critical support to the Fusion Ecosystem team in various activities related to venture building, ecosystem business growth, and portfolio management. Your responsibilities will include conducting market research, assisting in founder recruitment, preparing documentation (such as agreements and filings required when setting up companies), supporting the onboarding of new companies, facilitating communication among ecosystem companies, collecting and analyzing data for portfolio strategy development, as well as preparing presentations and reports, and participating in financial reporting. You will also assist with general tasks such as organizing meetings and events, managing and maintaining data, and supporting in development projects.

In this role, you will gain a 360-view on venture co-founding operations – meaning that you get to both challenge yourself professionally, and work with more pragmatic tasks. We hope that you embrace the opportunity to learn and develop, but at the same time do not consider any task too small for you to handle.

The role is:

✔️ fixed-term – ideally you could start in Summer 2025 and work for a calendar year, but you can also apply if you could start in Autumn 2025;

✔️ full-time – but if you want to make progress with your studies while working, a reasonable amount of flexibility can be arranged; and

✔️ based in Helsinki, Finland – a remote day every now and then is perfectly fine, but you will get the most out of this opportunity by being present at Reaktor’s super cool office located on Yliopistonkatu, Helsinki.

You could be the Trainee we are looking for, if:

✅ You study business, tech or law, and are at the final stage of your studies (200+ credits) – if you have recently graduated, you can also apply as long as you find the role motivating and are committed to the one-year fixed term.

✅ You have been professionally exposed to venture capital or M&A projects and tech-sector e.g. during a previous trainee period.

✅ You like paperwork and are detail-oriented while doing it.

✅ You have a can do -attitude combined with curiosity and confidence to take on tasks you may not have done earlier.

✅ You communicate fluently in Finnish and English, and you enjoy interacting and working with a lot of new people.
