During a strike
What to do during the strikes of other unions
During strikes announced by other unions (such as The Industrial Union or Pro) our members who work as senior salaried employees, do not participate in the strikes. During such strikes, senior salaried employees will stay in their own duties.
If you work in a designated strike company, and are subject to the collective agreement for employees or salaried employees, you are affected by the strike and may choose to participate. We will pay strike allowance to our members who participate in the strike. Please see below for industry specific instructions regarding the strike.
Strikes in different industries
The Industrial Union and Pro and The Union Pro have announced several 24-hour strikes at specific companies within the industry, starting in early December. These strikes are scheduled for December 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, and 12. You can find the spesific companies on the web pages of The Industrial Union and Union Pro. The strikes will begin if a collective bargaining agreement is not reached prior to these dates.
If you work in a designated strike company, and are subject to the collective agreement for employees or salaried employees, you are affected by the strike and may choose to participate. We will pay strike allowance to our members who participate in the strike. The allowance is 100 €/day.
