Salary recommendations for graduates and students

Have you just graduated or are you starting a summer job?
BBAs at the beginning of their careers can use the recommendations to determine the right salary level. Each year, we determine salary recommendations for recently graduated BBAs for their first employment relationships after graduation, and for BBA students for summer jobs and internships.

Salary recommendations for recent graduates

  • The salaries of newly graduated BBAs vary according to the demands of the job, the industry, the regional demand for labour force and the graduates’ work experience.
  • The amount of the salary must primarily be based on the demands and responsibilities of the job.
  • The employee’s professional competence and special skills (language skills, IT skills, etc.) that are useful in the position in question are also essential factors in determining the salary.
  • The recommendation applies to those working in positions that correspond to their education. The BBA degree prepares you for the expert and development positions in working life.

Little experience/competence, EUR 2,900
Moderate experience/competence, EUR 3,300
Extensive experience/competence, EUR 3,600

Internship and summer job salary recommendations for BBA students

  • Students’ internship and summer job salaries may vary by ±20% on both sides of the recommendation, depending on the position.
  • It’s advisable to complete the internship included in the BBA degree and any summer jobs in positions that support your training and promote your future career as an expert and developer in working life.
