Acquire members and get rewards

The referrer must be a member of Tradenomit. Union staff (those receiving wage income from the union) are not eligible for rewards. Elected officials (e.g., members of the council, board, and committees) are eligible for rewards.

The reward is given for new Gold or Black level student members, as well as Full, Family, and Entrepreneur members.

The reward is also granted in situations where a member transfers from Gold or Black level to full membership, or from Silver level to Gold/Black level.

If a member changes their membership type from Gold level to Black level, a referral reward is not granted.

A new member can only have one referrer. The same referrer can recommend membership to several different people.

The person joining as a member or changing their membership type must provide the referrer’s information (name and member number/email) on the joining form at the time of joining. A referrer cannot be reported retroactively after the membership has started.

The reward is granted once the new member has paid their first membership fee.

If the reward is used as a membership fee discount and the reward is greater than the remaining membership fee for the year, the unused portion will be credited towards the following year’s membership fee.

If a gift card is chosen as the reward, it will be delivered to the email address recorded in the member register. The union covers any potential delivery costs for the gift cards. Remember to check our online service to ensure that you have provided us with your email address and that it is up to date. If your email address is not in our member register, the membership fee reward will be automatically selected as your referral reward.

According to the instructions of the Tax Administration, gift card rewards are taxable income for the recipient.

Tradenomit reports all delivered rewards (both gift cards and membership fee discounts) to the Incomes Register as required by law. The reward recipient is personally responsible for any potential tax implications.

Liability: The reward recipient releases the campaign organizer from all liability and costs that may arise from participating in the campaign, receiving the reward, or using it. However, this limitation of liability does not diminish any rights granted to consumers under the Consumer Protection Act.

Right to changes: Tradenomit reserves the right to amend the campaign terms, reward tiers, or terminate the campaign without separate notice.
