Our main goals include annual holiday, the right to a tax deduction for a degree, part-time study leave, a training voucher, Maisteri AMK (Master UAS), and other things that affect your working life, as well.

How is the best working life for BBAs created?

The best working life in the world is created by prioritising the well-being, equality and competence of the employees and by developing legislation accordingly. Work must be meaningful, varied and motivating.

Raising your value, promoting your interests

You shouldn’t sell your skills too cheaply. The Finnish tradition of collective bargaining has created an equal working life in our country, but without continuous negotiations and advocacy, employees can’t participate in the growth of their own productivity. In working life, we are in the same boat – we know the realities, but get scrappy when we need to.

Competent work and responsibility should be fairly compensated. The salaries of BBAs increase mainly due to general increases.

Better terms of employment

Holiday bonuses, sick pay, paid family leave, caring for a sick child with pay. The monetary benefit of a collective agreement during your career can be up to EUR 150,000.

Does the law take changes in working life into account sufficiently? The Annual Holidays Act, for example, has become outdated. We are taking legislative initiatives to ensure that the law takes into account the challenges of modern working life.
